After my root canal on Thursday, I stayed home from school on Friday. Now I'm behind in my english and history classes, and I am practically dying. I have to finish almost an entire history chapter tonight, and I'm just not sure how I'm going to manage. I really hate finding easy ways out, but the outlines on the internet are just becoming more of a temptation by the minute. None of this would be a problem if I had just brought my books home on Thursday, knowing good and well I would most probably try weaseling my way out of school anyway.

Also perturbing me is how everybody is saying it is spring. I understand my friends in Australia, since it is autumn there, but the people here are just completely ignorant sometimes. It is still too cold, even for Florida. I know it is much colder up north and it is still snowing in some places, but by now in Florida it's supposed to average about sixty every afternoon. The high today was maybe fifty. It was the first day since the beginning week of school that I ate lunch inside the cafeteria, and it was all because of how cold it is.

Well, I am off to conquer some homework. Mom and I went to the grocery after school, and I am tempted to eat the sushi rolls but I also had a half of a sandwich, so. mrrr. D:

Without hope, the us's give up - I know you cannot live on hope alone, but without it, life is not worth living. So you, and you, and you... You gotta give em' hope... you gotta give em' hope. -Harvey Milk, Milk(2008)
